This cookbook has been a long-time dream of mine. In 1990, my nephew, Spencer Klotzman and I compiled and printed our first cookbook "All My
Cooks" with family recipes. It sold very well in my store, The Antique Boutique, and people still
ask me for a copy! I dreamed that one day I would publish an expanded cookbook of my family's favorite recipes. In 1999, we began publishing a store newsletter titled Fashion Friends in which we included a famous Klotzman recipe in each issue. Well, the cookbook fever hit me again, BIG TIME, and "Cooking with Fashion" Friends was born! I invited my customers to submit their favorite recipes and this is what became of my dream many years ago. My mother, Mary Lou Klotzman, a well-known regional artist created the cookbook illustrations. I learned to enjoy good food during my many visits to my Granny's house in Selma, Alabama. Ethel Klotzman was one of the great Southern cooks. Her famous saying that I remember as a child was eat it while it's hot. I remember that each time Granny would come to visit us in Victoria, she would bring fudge brownies and jelly cookies. My brother, sister and I would wait (rather impatiently) for one of Granny's delicious treats. Happy Cooking! Kay
